Oprah Magazine or "O"
Oprah Magazine or "O" as it is titled, is a monthly magazine founded and created by talk show host Oprah Winfrey, along with Hearst Corporation. The magazine began publication in April of 2000. since that time, "O" magazine circulates well over 2 million copies each month to various countries.
Since the magazine's start, Oprah herself has appeared on every single cover of "O'. She always appeared alone until April of 2009 when she invited First Lady Michelle Obama to share the cover with her. The second shared cover came soon after in November of 2009, and featured fellow talk show host Ellen Degeneres. For this special holiday issue, four separate covers were published.
Each issue of "O" magazine contains certain columns which appear every month. Some of these include: "What I Know for Sure", "Here We Go!" as well as life sessons, advice, humor and details from Oprah herself. Just like her tv talk show, "O" magazine covers a wide variety of issues that her particular audience is currently interested in. Subjects which seem to be a mainstay in her magazine are about Culture, Lifestyle, Home & Garden, Food, Nutrition, Beauty, Fitness & Health, and Personal Growth.
Some regular contributors to her magazine include Dr. David L. Katz who teaches the "O" readers "The Way to Eat", talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw, Financial expret Suze Orman, and Beauty expret Valerie Monroe, along with many more.
