why don't I get reality TV? or HEAT magazine? Is it because I have friends?

The general public seems to be increasingly obsessed with celebs.. but to the point where the paparazzi/media turn us into stalkers. I, honestly, couldn't give a damn who is dating Ronaldo, or who Keira Knightly's latest squeeze is, and how their relationship is going ("you can see solid evidence by their body language in this photo- look neither of them are smiling!!!!")

But why? Is it because these people have no mates to gossip about and laugh at?... or are their mates just too boring? ...or do they have plenty mates but they for some reason think that the celebs and people on BB etc are more interesting/important than their mates?

Celebrities don't exist to me. I could hardly identify one person in a magazine

I don't care about the celebrities lives, but for some reason (maybe because i'm a woman?) i love reading about all the skinny celebrities...

I don't buy heat magazine or reveal anymore, neither do i watch a certain reality TV show. Anymore!

Yes, I believe it is because you have friends and a life... why, oh why do people sit in front of a television and wish their lives away until the next episode of their favourite soap is on.
