Amazon EU (Complaints)
MoneySavingExpert.com has just posted the following message with the title Amazon EU (Complaints).
I'm not sure i have this in the right thread, if not please would mod move it for me... I wanted some thoughts on the following: We recently ordered an HM Forces Tank (Toy) from Amazon EU as they offer free postage and are £11 cheaper than anywhere else. When the package arrived there was no "external" packaging, the box was "as off shelf" and damaged, ripped and damp. We sent it back and got a replacement. That arrived yesterday and was in an even worse state. Half of the packaging was missing (again no external packaging), box damp and to be honest it looked like I had got this from a rubbish bin. I have phoned Amazon today who have told me they will pick the item up and offer a full refund. I said that I needed the item for Saturday this week and could I have a refund issued immediately. I was told no, I had to wait for 7 days after the item had arrived in their warehouse for them to do a full investigation to find out what had gone wrong. Where do I stand with this? I'm not happy and have asked for a complaint form which they say they don't provide but I can leave feedback on the packaging. I have done this and uploaded the photos also. Any ideas?
