Argos Returns - Exercise Bike
MoneySavingExpert.com has just posted the following message with the title Argos Returns - Exercise Bike.
I have recently returned a faulty exercise bike to Argos (magnetic resistance had failed and was clunking with every pedal turn). They accepted it back no problem. This was the 2nd bike we'd had with this problem, so decided to try another brand to see how we got on. Have had the other one for 3 days. The problem is that it isn't long enough in the leg - even with seat on highest setting it's cramped for me and DH (not at same time, you understand :p). Also, the display panel seems to calculate very quickly, ie distance/calories don't tally etc. Their policy is that you can return within 30 days, as long as in original packaging, saleable etc. As bike is assembled this isn't the case. Or should I return as faulty as I'm only 5ft 9 and it clearly isn't suitable for a person of average height. Advice welcome - thanks!
