MoneySavingExpert.com has just posted the following message with the title a friend of mine bought toothpaste from an american.

website which i believe i have seen advertised on facebook too . she bought toothpaste to whiten teeth and without reading all their terms and conditions it made her subscribe to £300 worth of magazines which she did not need. in the terms and conditions in small it said that if she did not cancel that a direct debit would be set up. instead of paying maybe £10 she ended up paying £300. she is embarrassed to tell her other half. can she do anything about it. it seems terrible that companies like this are not regulated.
