Haggling Online - Your Opinions

A healthy discussion for you all! I've noticed a lot of threads on here about bartering and haggling in high street stores giving various degrees of success, but has anyone tried bartering with online stores? I'm looking at buying a new computer at the moment, and obvious online is the cheapest - has anyone had any successes in this sector? Even for parts with companies like Aria, Scan, Ebuyer, Novatech etc? I imagine you're much less likely to succeed than in face-to-face negotiations, but the opportunity is still there - any thoughts? :) A careful money-spender
