7 Months Pregnant – Devastated Amanda Holden Tragically Loses Baby
Posted on 08. Feb, 2011 by Louisa.
The TV star and Britains Got Talent judge has sorrowfully lost her baby.
At seven months pregnant, Amanda Holden was reportedly taken into hospital after the baby seemed to have stopped moving. On Tuesday last week, West Middlesex Hospital Isleworth confirmed that the baby was stillborn, a deeply devastating loss for Amanda and her husband, Chris Hughes, who had a miscarriage last year and are proud parents to their beautiful daughter, Lexi.
Whilst Amanda and Chris grieve for their loss, there are already rumours that Amanda will return to judge the BGT show. The audition rounds of the show have already been filmed and Newspapers are already beginning to print reports about her with The Sun printing:
“Amanda Holden will return to Britain’s Got Talent despite the loss of her unborn Son.”
So whilst the couple come to terms with their loss and Doctors investigate to determine the cause, friends and celebrities alike have posted hundreds of messages of support with pregnant friend and mother of one, Myleene Klass, tweeting:
“I’m so very sorry. Please God watch over your family and your little angel in Heaven.” Pregnant Emma Bunton, and James Corden whose fiancee is also pregnant also, were a few more offering condolences and support. It should be such a personal time after a miscarriage or stillbirth, so have the celebs overdone the tweets? We suppose that public support shouldn’t be slated just yet…
Amanda and Chris had with-held confirmation that they were pregnant until only 4 weeks ago, and must have felt that she was over the most dangerous first trimester, and nearly past the second at 6 months.
Whilst such a traumatic time it is, and how difficult it will be to return to our screens, we’re sure that we’ll see Amanda back to work soon.

Blue Rumoured to Be Re-forming the Band for Eurovision
Posted on 01. Feb, 2011 by Louisa.
I think lots of us remember the former boy band Blue – the members haven’t exactly hidden away for the past few years with some of the members remaining in the forefront of reality TV, pantomimes across the UK and music shows.
The decision to enter the Eurovision competition was decided by the BBC and announced on Sunday 30th January – but is the move “reckless” – as Daniel Glatman, the bands former manager, shattered the boys excitement?
A BBC spokesman supported the decision though, highlighting the fact that an “established” and “credible” act was needed this year.
And some will enjoy the fact that a reunion is on the cards, ageing they may be but the talented band, made up of Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Anthony Costa have sold over 8 million records and perhaps its a decision that will help us get past last place.
Well, laugh some may but this could well be a fantastic choice for the band and get the ball rolling with some new singles being released if they are successful.
Will we win? I think we’ll have to wait and see.

Peter Andre & Elen Rivas Find Love
Posted on 12. Jan, 2011 by Louisa.
Dancing on Ice contestant Ellen Rivas has been wooed by somebody.
After finally announcing in April last year that she was officially ‘over’ her ex, premiership footballer Frank Lampard, Elen Rivas appears to have found love not with her dancing partner, Lukasz Rosycki but with Mysterious Girl pop singer Peter Andre.
Spanish model Elen has been dating Peter for just two months, but it certainly looks like love from where I’m standing.
Peter has announced that he loves to spend time with Frank Lampards ex-fiancee, who is the Father of her two children but is said to have announced that he doesn’t want her to play Mummy to his kids and rub Katie Price’s nose in it like Alex Reid did to him when they first met.
The couple, who have already introduced their children to each other, have sparked rage with Peters ex-wife who apparently wasn’t too happy to hear the news that they were dating, apparently devastated it must have come as a shock as her own relationship appears to be in crisis.
Perhaps Elen could be “The One” for Peter and perhaps there just may be another famous wedding this year… although the jury’s out on whether this is a match made in heaven or a repulsive relationship at Heat Mag

Have EastEnders Taken it a Plot Too Far?
Posted on 05. Jan, 2011 by Louisa.
Following the last few episodes, you may have realised that there’s a controversial storyline featuring one of the soaps most popular couples – Kat and Alfie Moon – and Ronnie ‘baby swap’ Branning.
The soap has, in the past, told extremely well documented issues relating to very difficult and sensitive situations. For some viewers the SID (Sudden Infant Death) Syndrome lines will bring real anguish.
Twitter has already seen hundreds of comments full of uproar from angry viewers and despite the shows bosses and writers approaching experts at The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, some Parents are outraged and ‘disturbed’ at such a ‘ridiculous’ storyline which is ‘a step too far’.
We are finding it very uncomfortable watching and it seems many others may not tune in to follow the plot as it, hopefully, unravels.
Whilst both parties struggle to cope with their grief of losing their baby boys, and Ronnie coming to terms with stealing someone else’s baby, could the writers have taken this cot death story too far?

Inbetweeners Glam Up For Closer Magazine
Posted on 19. Oct, 2010 by Suzanne.
Two of the female stars of hit comedy show the InBetweeners have thrown off their usual school uniforms in order to glam up for Closer Magazine in outfits that might come as a bit of a surprise to some readers. Although readers of FHM Magazine will have seen the two appearing in a similar shoot, but with fellow star Emily Atack previously.
Hannah Tointon and Emily Head play Tara and Carli in the comedy show about a group of school going teenagers and while they may not get to wear anything other than school uniforms during filming very often they were certainly given the chance while shooting for Closer Magazine.
Emaily said Emily said: “I keep an open mind when it comes to clothes and I won’t rule out anything. It’s nice to glam up and try new trends, especially as my character Carli wears a bright blue sweatshirt all the time!”
However, Hannah is more of a rock chick wearing jeans and a t-shirt when she’s not filming.
The InBetweeners has proven to be a massive success during its first three series but there’s a lot of debate over whether the cast and the crew would be able to get away with filming a fourth series with many of the stars now passing school age.
Simon Bird has recently also filmed the BBC Three show The King is Dead which he not only stars in but co-wrote. The big question is, though, will they make another series of The InBetweeners?
