Peter Andre & Elen Rivas Find Love

Dancing on Ice contestant Ellen Rivas has been wooed by somebody.

After finally announcing in April last year that she was officially ‘over’ her ex, premiership footballer Frank Lampard, Elen Rivas appears to have found love not with her dancing partner, Lukasz Rosycki but with Mysterious Girl pop singer Peter Andre.

Spanish model Elen has been dating Peter for just two months, but it certainly looks like love from where I’m standing.

Peter has announced that he loves to spend time with Frank Lampards ex-fiancee, who is the Father of her two children but is said to have announced that he doesn’t want her to play Mummy to his kids and rub Katie Price’s nose in it like Alex Reid did to him when they first met.

The couple, who have already introduced their children to each other, have sparked rage with Peters ex-wife who apparently wasn’t too happy to hear the news that they were dating, apparently devastated it must have come as a shock as her own relationship appears to be in crisis.

Perhaps Elen could be “The One” for Peter and perhaps there just may be another famous wedding this year… although the jury’s out on whether this is a match made in heaven or a repulsive relationship at Heat Mag

Have EastEnders Taken it a Plot Too Far?

Following the last few episodes, you may have realised that there’s a controversial storyline featuring one of the soaps most popular couples – Kat and Alfie Moon – and Ronnie ‘baby swap’ Branning.

The soap has, in the past, told extremely well documented issues relating to very difficult and sensitive situations. For some viewers the SID (Sudden Infant Death) Syndrome lines will bring real anguish.

Twitter has already seen hundreds of comments full of uproar from angry viewers and despite the shows bosses and writers approaching experts at The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, some Parents are outraged and ‘disturbed’ at such a ‘ridiculous’ storyline which is ‘a step too far’.

We are finding it very uncomfortable watching and it seems many others may not tune in to follow the plot as it, hopefully, unravels.

Whilst both parties struggle to cope with their grief of losing their baby boys, and Ronnie coming to terms with stealing someone else’s baby, could the writers have taken this cot death story too far?

Tram Crash Draws Biggest Coronation Street Crowd In Five Years

The Coronation Street tram crash may seem like a morbid way to celebrate 50 years of the country’s longest running soap but if viewing figures are any measure of success, which they definitely are in the soap wars, then the ploy worked perfectly. Whether you think the GBP1m effects were shaky or shockingly fantastic the scenes helped Coronation Street draw in some of the biggest crowds it has ever seen with the second episode of the double bill managing a 50% share of TV viewers.

The first episode attracted an average 11.6m people with a peak of 12.8m while the second episode managed an average of 12.9m and a peak of 14.6m viewers.

The double bill marked the start of the week long 50th anniversary celebrations which have been plugged for quite some time now. Recent episodes have seen lead roles complaining about the noise of the trams while the episodes have been dubbed as “Four Funerals And A Wedding”.

A special one off episode on Thursday, which marks the 50th anniversary, is filmed and aired live and there will be one much loved character that will be confirmed as dead during the show.

Betting on bunny boiler Charlotte has been suspended although there’s been no confirmation of her death after being hit by John Stape with a hammer. Molly and Ashley are favourites to die but Jason and Simon, Nick and Peter are all in obvious danger. Sunita is also a good bet while little has been seen or heard of Rita since the accident.

X-Factor Meltdown Continues

The ongoing allegations of X Factor fixing have taken a couple more turns in different directions today following yesterday’s allegations by host Dermot O’Leary that the decision was essentially rigged. Simon Cowell is believed to be considering adding a fifth judge to the panel, insists that the show is not rigged in any way, and is worried that viewers no longer trust the show. Meanwhile Dermot O’Leary took the move of defending his comments on Twitter.

It was Cheryl Cole, once again, that faced the main backlash after not wanting to judge which act should go home. Rather than taking the decision to a count of public votes, show producers had allegedly already hatched a plot to go with the judges’ majority vote even though this meant Katie Waissel stayed in the competition despite having received only a third of the number of votes received by competitor Treyc Cohen who was the contestant that was ultimately sent packing by the judges.

Following thousands of complainst by disgruntled viewers, Simon fears that the show has lost a lot of its integrity with viewers. There have been over a thousand complaints to the show itself, to ITV, and the TV regulator Ofcom. A quick glance at sites like Twitter and Facebook show just how unpopular the move was.

Cowell is apparently seething as he believes that the whole thing has been blown out of proportion but he is said to be considering the addition of a fifth judge in order to prevent anything similar from occurring in the future.

Gordon Ramsay Fires Two More Family Members

Gordon Ramsay faces the wrath of the in-laws after suspending his wife’s brother and sacking her nephew from the family company. This comes following the sacking of his wife’s Dad and the publication of an open letter to Gordon’s mother-in-law. The whole incident has already caused uproar and Tana’s mother apparently wrote a letter to her daughter asking her to stay away from the family. Gordon responded with an open letter published in the Evening Standard saying that watching his wife cry while reading the letter from her mother was one of the most difficult things he had ever had to do.

He also described the decision to sack Tana’s father, who he described as being controlling and manipulating, as one of the hardest and most important decisions he’d made in his life.

Rumours have been circulating for some time over the extent of Gordon’s financial troubles after he had to close restaurants and let staff go. It is unclear at the moment whether this latest suspension and firing are to save money, make more money, or because of a growing rift between family members.

Gordon Ramsay Holdings was very much a family run company but following this bout of sackings it is difficult to see how there can be anybody left in there except Gordon himself. It’s also difficult to image just how awkward life at home must feel right now.
