Mariah Carey Is Expecting A Baby Boy

After months of speculation, rumours, and comments about the star’s weight, it has been announced by a source close to the star that Mariah Carey is indeed pregnant. The whole weight gain issue at the beginning of the year was caused by Mariah’s fertility treatment program and she hasn’t made an official announcement as yet but the source says that Mariah and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a baby boy which is due in April next year.

At the age of 40, Mariah is said to be superstitious over announcing the news too early but one of her team has seemingly made that announcement for her saying that it will be made official when Mariah appears on Oprah and The View later in the year.

Having been spotted recently wearing a maternity dress and amid rumours of various reasons for the singer’s weight gain, it won’t come as too much of a surprise to any of her loyal fans although obviously as their hasn’t been an official word for the star herself or from her husband it could turn out to be untrue yet although that seems less likely than an announcement.

Mariah and Nick are still undecided as to whether they should raise the baby in New York or Los Angeles. This will be Mariah’s first child and she is now approximately four month’s pregnant if the story is to be believed.

Cheryl Furthers Her Fall From Grace By Miming While John Adeleye Is Out

A few weeks back we reported how Cheryl Cole was trying to make the most of every bit of work she could get because she knows that fame and stardom are fickle beasts and her point seems to be being proven as we write this. The Geordie singer could do no wrong in the eyes of the public three or four months ago especially as most of the country sided with her in the split from ex-husband Ashley Cole.

However, following her recovery from Malaria she has fallen foul of numerous bad pieces of press, not least the furore that surrounded her decision to send contestant Gamu Nhengu home. And, it seems that the furore is far from over according to Star Magazine.

Cheryl performed her new single Promise This wearing striped tights that caused a stir and while few people have doubted she looked incredible there has been a real fuss over the fact that she mimed her way through a large portion of the song. Supporters of the former Girls Aloud singer say she did it so that she could perform the complex dance routine but others point to the fact that she had said only the day before that she would 100% sing live.

Meanwhile, care worker John Adeleye was voted off. He met Treyc Cohen in the bottom two after the pair received the lowest vote but the judges opted to send John home and leave Treyc in the competition.

Linford Christie Signs Up For I’m A Celebrity…

The reality TV season is now well and truly upon us. X Factor is under way and Ann Widdecombe is proving to be every bit the pantomime horse she expected to be on Strictly Come Dancing. It’s only a matter of time before a bunch of celebrities don their ice skates and leap around a freezing pond, although we don’t have the inane nonsense of Big Brother to look forward to this year. Next up, though, is I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here which starts on Channel 4 in 3 weeks time.

I’m A Celebrity has ignited the careers of several of the celebrities that have appeared on it. There’s no doubting that it was the best thing to happen to Katie Price or Peter Andre’s career although they may sometimes question whether it was the best thing to happen to their social lives. Myleene Klass has also happily enjoyed a boost to her own career since appearing in the jungle while Kerry Katona and Jason Donovan are doing great things in their Iceland ad careers.

This year could turn out to be Linford Christie’s year as the former Olympic sprinter is the first to have signed up for the show and is already, according to What’s On TV Magazine, in training for the physical and the gastronomical aspects of life in the outback.

It’s reported that Linford has been paid GBP80,000 to appear in the jungle and sources say that he has started training because he is so competitive and will want to win once he reaches camp.

Simon Cowell To Turn Immigration Expert For Gamu Nhengu

Who’d have thought that reality TV could spark such furious emotions as the X Factor has managed this year amidst the row over whether Gamu Nhengu should have been put through, whether she was axed because of work permit problems, and whether Cheryl Cole is a racist. What’s perhaps even more surprising, though, is that the brains behind the show Simon Cowell is to help Gamu Nhengu fight for her to avoid deportation. As far as we’re aware he doesn’t have any legal training but he does a virtually bottomless pit of cash and quite a lot of public and media clout.

In all honesty, the whole affair has been blown ludicrously out of proprtion in our eyes. Gamu Nhengu is undoubtedly a great singer and as the favourite heading into the final judges’ decision it looked certain she should get through especialyl as two of her hottest rivals collapsed and couldn’t complete their song. However, they went through while Gamu was axed from the show.

According to Marie Claire Magazine, the family’s visa has been declined because Gamu’s mother allegedly wrongfully claimed benefits while working as a nurse. However, this is being disputed by the family and Gamu’s lawyers has said that they believe they have a serious case to appeal which they will be doing.

Whatever you think of the whole affair it quite clearly isn’t going to just disappear into the background just yet.

James Corden To Be A Dad And Maybe A Talent Judge

The seemingly ubiquitous James Corden, star of Gavin and Stacey and arguably the only decent thing about England’s World Cup campaign, has proudly announced that he is to become a Dad.

Corden has been dating girlfriend Julia Carey for over a year after being introduced by his flatmate and rumours started recently that the pair were expecting their first child together. In answer to these rumours, Corden confirmed to the Sun newspaper that he is indeed to become a Daddy.

The star said that they were both over the moon about the impending arrival of a newborn baby and that they really couldn’t be any happier. To celebrate, the pair went to posh diner Nobu according to Marie Claire magazine, and were joined by David Walliams.

That’s not the only piece of big news that James Corden has been hearing about himself either. Following Piers Morgan’s departure to The States to take over Larry King’s chat show position, there is a hole to be filled in the Britain’s Got Talent judge’s panel and Corden is being rumoured to be that replacement.

Following the massive success of hilarious Gavin and Stacey, Corden has enjoyed success in various different formats. He reached number 1 with Dizzee Rascal performing a cover of the song Shout. He was in Doctor Who (that’s the biggie isn’t it?), had hiw own World Cup show, interviewed most of the World Cup team while performing comedy sketches with them and could now be the latest celebrity judge on the vast plethora of reality shows on TV.

Coleen Rooney Has A “Fuller” Stomach

Many people have been surprised at how quickly Coleen Rooney has forgiven cheating husband Wayne for his infidelities with two escorts on various differento occasions but Glamour Magazine thinks it may know the full reason behind for forgiving ways as they describe the usually thin and toned Coleen as having a “fuller” stomach and intimating that she could be expecting her second child with Wayne.

While Rooney may definitely have been off his game recently, in terms of football as well as in his personal life, that’s nothing compared to what Coleen has been through. Not only were revelations about her husband sleeping with 2 escorts the topic of every media channel known to the world but her sister is seriously ill in hospital too. You’d be forgiven for expecting her to look a little thin but Glamour magazine has pictures of her taken in Lourdes where her sister is seriously ill in hospital and she definitely hasn’t lost weight and has, in fact, got a “fuller” looking stomach than before.

Apparently, this is the reason that she has forgiven footballer Wayne although she has come under fire from family and close friends as well as many members of the public for doing so. Newspapers have reported that she has made her husband apologise to her parents and more recent reports suggest that she has been advised by at least one friend not to get back with Wayne just because she is expecting his baby.
